3-year-old Class
(Salamanders)

Red eft salamander

Tuesday/Thursday, 9:30 am - Noon

Our three-year-olds often have never been at a school before.  The greatest area for growth for our Salamanders is typically social-emotional learning: how to cope in a new environment, how to interact with  peers, and how to advocate for oneself.

Our Salamanders need a lot of TLC, especially during the first week or two in the fall.  With patience and love, they quickly adjust to the routines at school.

Our four- and five-year-olds come to us with more experience, and most have attended preschool previously.  Social-emotional skills continue to be a big focus for our Bluebirds, as well as continued fine motor skill development (which will help with handwriting down the road), and being exposed to reading.  Our Bluebirds end their year ready to spread their wings and attend kindergarten!
